Vehicle trials require a flexible and responsive approach throughout the trial period due to the need to ramp up and ramp down the workforce according to the changing shape of the programme as it evolves over time and also due to the possibility of irregular work hours, night time/weekend requirements, multiple Trials Locations and extreme conditions and working environments. M&E works closely with the Prime contractors' Program Management team in order to fully understand the client’s mission and manning requirements to ensure that the Program meets its goals and milestones.
M&E support General Dynamics UK (GDUK) with a team of Driver and armoured vehicles commanders for ongoing trials of the AJAX armoured fighting vehicles.
Modifications & upgrades
M&E support Lockheed Martin UK (LMUK) on the Warrior Capability Sustainment Programme (WCSP). We provide Core team and Surge team personnel to carry out improvements to the British Army’s Warrior armoured fighting vehicle (AFV). The upgrade includes an innovative new turret designed and developed by LMUK in Ampthill.
