This contract recurs each year and supports Foreign Military Sales and Follow-On Technical Support of naval equipment. Applicants require naval equipment experience.

Duties for this marine engineering job will include:

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled equipment maintenance

  • Complete all related maintenance forms, logs, records and reports

  • Perform organisation and intermediate level maintenance on fire control systems, equipment, and associated combat control systems test equipment

  • Operate and test fire control systems

  • Operate and maintain non-tactical computer systems and peripherals

Applicants for this position will require specific naval equipment exprerience and will need to maintain effective customer communications and relations. Candidate should be able to read and interpret drawings, blueprints and technical documentations and/or manuals to identify part numbers and technical specifications for materials required to repair and overhaul shipboard equipment.

Job Requirements

  • Naval equipment experience.

  • U.S. Military or equivalent industrial experience required.

  • Candidate must travel internationally in support of USN Foreign Military Sales support.

  • Physical demands may vary depending on the work location.

    • Ability to stand; walk; stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

    • Must frequently lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.

    • Required to sit at times; use hand to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms and climb or balance.

    • Ability to work in arduous circumstances OCONUS aboard foreign ships and shore-based industrial worksites.
